Timberline Voice · Effective date: October 13, 2026

This policy explains what information Timberline Voice ("we," "us") collects, how we use it, and your choices. It covers our website (timberlinevoice.com), our own phone line, and the AI phone operators we build and run for our business clients. Questions: jodyp@timberlinevoice.com · (719) 496-4633.

1. You may be talking to an AI

Our phone operators, including "Rick" on our own line, are artificial intelligence with computer-generated voices. They tell callers they are AI at the start of each call and whenever asked, consistent with Colorado law (including HB26-1263, effective January 1, 2027, and Colorado's AI consumer-protection law). If you want a human, say so and we will take a message for a callback.

2. Who this applies to

3. Information we collect

4. How we use it

To answer and route calls, take messages, book appointments, send call summaries, run and improve the service, set up and bill trials and subscriptions, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. We do not use client callers' data to train AI models for anyone else.

5. Call recording and transcripts

Calls handled by our AI operators may be recorded and transcribed. Colorado permits recording with one party's consent; we still tell callers when calls may be recorded. Clients are responsible for any notices or consent their own callers require (including callers in all-party-consent states). Recordings and transcripts are kept for up to 90 days by default and summaries for the life of the client account, unless a client chooses a different period or law requires otherwise, then deleted.

6. Who we share it with (subprocessors)

We share only what each provider needs to deliver the service:

Subprocessors
ProviderPurpose
xAI (Grok)AI voice, speech recognition and language processing
TwilioPhone numbers, call and SMS delivery, recordings
StripePayments and trial billing
Google (Workspace)Email, scheduling, document storage
CloudflareWebsite hosting, DNS, and security

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in a business sale or merger (with notice). Providers may process data outside Colorado, in the United States.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards: encrypted connections, access controls, and reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure.

8. Your rights (including the Colorado Privacy Act)

Depending on where you live and whether the law applies, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or get a copy of your personal data, and to opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or profiling (we do none of these). Email jodyp@timberlinevoice.com. We will respond within 45 days and won't discriminate against you for asking. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; if still unsatisfied you may contact the Colorado Attorney General. If you were calling one of our clients, send your request to that business (we'll forward requests we receive).

9. Text messages

If you opt in to texts, message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing.

10. Children

Our service is for businesses and not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.

11. Changes

We'll post updates here with a new effective date, and notify clients of material changes by email.
